Hi guys,

I'm searching for a ReFill that contains Fairlight sounds. I have found many references to the Zimulator free CMI ReFill, but every link is dead :(

If anyone knows of an active link or is able to send me the ReFill, I'd be most grateful. Being free, I doubt sending it would contravene any laws or legislation :)

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

I've been on a refill mining mission lately, fairlight hasn't shown in any yet.

A full fairlight refill doesn't seem to exist, but I'll check the refills that contain all the major DAW workstation roms. I'll let you know if something comes up

Cheers mate :)

I did eventually get hold of the Zimulator Fairlight Refill, but that contained most of the samples we have here at Hollow Sun as Marco "licenced" them from us.

I'm just a Fairlight Junkie and a lazy one at that ! ;) I do have an extensive Fairlight audio library here but that needs transferring and programming and I rarely get the time for such frivolous activities :(

I'd be interested, a Fairlight is at the top of my list but I do love Reason.

Hi folks!

There is a Fairlight refill out now with the entire IIx library, endorsed by Fairlight in Australia. The library is called Fairlight CMI Legacy and through the free demo refill, updates for the library is being posted on a continous basis. The current update / demo is now in revision 1.10 and contains over 580 patches for NNXT and much more.

You can find all of it on http://www.powerfx.com.

The free demo library alone contains over 60 Mb of new samples, whereas the complete Legacy library contains over 640 Mb of samples, again, including the entire Fairlight IIx 33-disk library, many synths and drum machines from the same era, like LinnDrum, 707, 808, 909, JX8P, DX7 and much more.

Check out the demo right away! :)

There are also some YouTube clips on http://www.youtube.com/bitleytm.

I have worked since September last year to produce it, and it was released just two weeks ago.

Best
